File Buddy makes it easy to find a file with the same attributes as another file by loading all attributes of the original file into the Find window. Once the desired attributes have been loaded, check the attributes to be used in the search and click the Search button.

To load an item’s attributes into the Find window, do any of the following:

• Choose the command to select
• To load the attributes of an item in a List window, select the item in the list and click the Similar toolbar item.
• Use the Find Similar with File Buddy contextual menu command on an item in the Finder.
• To load the attributes of an arbitrary item, choose the Find Find Similar and select the item whose attributes you wish loaded into the Find window.
